Ann F. McKenna, vice dean of strategic advancement at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University and professor of engineering in the Polytechnic School, has been named dean of the University of Iowa College of Engineering. She will begin on Aug. 16.

For the first time ever, the Downtown Iowa City Summer Gallery Walk will begin a the UI Stanley Museum of Art. Beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, see the museum's recent acquisition of Willie Cole's Two-Faced Blues and the reinstallation of prints, photos, and textiles in the galleries.
