Staff Awards - Nominate a Colleague!

Every year the University of Iowa Staff Council has the pleasure to honor fellow staff from all across the UI campus who have gone above and beyond to make the University of Iowa the great institution it is today. You may nominate a deserving staff member by submitting the nomination form. For additional insights, read more about the various awards and last year’s winners.  

The nomination period will close on March 25, 2022. 

Archives: An Unexpected Joy

“History is defined by whatever records we have in hand,” said David McCartney, University of Iowa Archivist. “What to preserve is not a decision we take lightly because we can’t save everything.” Determining what will be relevant in the future is at the crux of the responsibility of an archivist because history is fluid. Supervisor Training
