Hello, fellow CLAS staff!

Welcome to the FIRST quarterly College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Staff Council newsletter, highlighting staff information and opportunities!

Why is this our first newsletter? CLAS Staff Council is a relatively new entity, having just been established in 2019 [?]. The first council members spent most of our first terms instituting bylaws, creating a website, and figuring out how to work together as a new council—and we continue to work on our goal to establish stability in the structure of shared governance in CLAS, parallel to other Collegiate councils across campus. https://shared-governance.sites.uiowa.edu/shared-governance-bodies.
