| | On February 15, the Iowa Section of the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research will hold its annual meeting virtually. Pete Damiano, Bernstein Professor of Dentistry at the University of Iowa and the director of the Public Policy Center is the keynote speaker. Leo Marchini, associate professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry at the University of Iowa, is the featured speaker. | | | Jue Hu is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Hongli Sun, associate professor in the College of Dentistry. Her research focuses on developing innovative biomaterials and drug delivery techniques for bone tissue engineering. Specifically, she is working to develop biomimetic 3D scaffold with strong osteopromotive abilities and sustained drug release capacity to promote endogenous craniofacial bone regeneration.
