You are receiving this message because you are signed up for the fall 2024 commencement subscription list. The subscription list is intended for guests and other community members interested in the fall 2024 ceremonies. 

Fall 2024 Upcoming Deadlines 

The RSVP deadline has been extended and apparel home shipping portal is closing soon! 

The Commencement RSVP Deadline has been extended!

Know someone that is planning on participating in a fall 2024 commencement ceremony? The RSVP portal in MyUI is open until Nov. 20! Don't know if your student has RSVP'd? Ask them! The RSVP is considered part of the student's academic record and only they can give out that information.

• The following message was sent on Nov. 18 to students who have not yet RSVP'd: LAST CHANCE! RSVP Deadline Extension for Fall 2024 Commencement
• The RSVP process is an opt-in system. Only students who RSVP as "I plan to participate" by the deadline and attend the ceremony will have their names read and displayed during the ceremony broadcast.
• Students can add or edit a graduation slide photo until Friday, Dec. 6, 2024. Slides are for personal use and are not used at the in-person ceremonies.

The Online Apparel Portal is Closing Soon!

The Herff Jones online ordering portal is still open for home shipping. Additionally, regalia is available at the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore located in the Iowa Memorial Union (limited availability).

• Orders must be placed online by Nov. 20 to have regalia shipped to the student's home. Shipping fees apply.
• The following email was sent on Nov. 13 to student's who have RSVP'd for a fall ceremony: Fall 2024 Commencement Deadlines and Reminders
• Additional information and the link to order the required regalia are available on the apparel page of the commencement website.

All graduates are expected to wear academic regalia and all regalia must be in hand prior to the ceremony. Regalia will not be available to purchase or rent at the ceremonies.
