The University of Iowa Honorary Degree Selection Committee seeks nominations for the 2023-2024 academic year. These prestigious awards may be conferred upon individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements in areas such as scholarship (to include research or artistic creation), education, social activism, human rights, innovation or invention beneficial to society, or humanitarian outreach. Nominations where philanthropy or the possibility of future endowments to the institution are the main focus will not be considered. Please note: this award is not conferred posthumously.
The deadline to receive nomination packets is Thursday, September 15, 2022.
