Reimagining Campus Safety Action Committee

Matsalyn Brown, Staff Council organizational representative for the Tippie College of Business, is playing a major role in new efforts, along with the UI Staff Council’s DEI Committee, to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus. Matsalyn has been appointed as the staff council representative on the Reimagining Campus Safety Action Committee. The committee seeks to “identify strategies, tactics, and timelines for creating a campus community that supports the safety of all individuals, with particular attention to people who have traditionally experienced disproportionate harm from systems such as law enforcement.”  Read more...

Staff Council Joins the Virtual Homecoming Parade

Staff Councilor Teri Schnelle receives a campus program grant from the Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women.
