Funding Landscape

ARPA-H announces a proposers’ day for the Ocular Laboratory for Analysis of Biomarkers (OCULAB) program.

The goal of the OCULAB program is to create a tear-based biomarker measurement device that can be inserted into the tear duct. This device could allow for the measurement of hormones, vitamins, medication, and proteins with less risk of damaging the sensor. The Ocular Laboratory for Analysis of Biomarkers Proposers’ Day is on December 12, 2024.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation issues a request for research grant proposals.

Research grants are designed to support basic science research to increase the understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of cystic fibrosis. These grants encourage the development of new information through studies at various levels, including subcellular, cellular, animal, or patient levels. Proposals must be hypothesis-driven and include sufficient preliminary data to justify support from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Applications are accepted in both Fall and Spring cycles.
