Did you know?

Orthodontics patients have former UI College of Dentistry professor George F. Andreasen to thank for reducing their time in braces through the introduction of nitinol wire, also known as memory wire or shape memory alloy.

Hannah Lowry

The College of Dentistry Welcomes Hannah Lowry

Hannah Lowry is a new Support Service Specialist for the College of Dentistry, and she is excited to be part of the University of Iowa. Hannah is currently finishing up her Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Northern Iowa this spring. Not to worry, though, since she is from the Cedar Rapids area, she has always been a Hawkeye at heart. When Hannah is not working here, or doing schoolwork, she works part-time at her old job, Clickstop, a couple times a week. In her free time, she likes to go out and explore different restaurants with friends and family, and hike (recommendations on the best trails are encouraged)!
