  • Spring 2025 and Winter 2024 registration begins today: Check your registration date/time on MyUI. Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss your spring 2025 courses and be authorized to register before your registration date

  • Deadlines to drop an off-cycle course

  • Deadline to drop a semester-long course with a W is next Monday, November 18th. Please initiate the drop in MyUI and then email your advisor for approval.

Multicultural Showcase

Food Around the World

In celebration of International Education Week 2024, the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies together with International Studies and the Center for Language and Culture Learning invite you to a “Food Around the World” event on Monday, November 18, 2024, 2-3 pm at Culture Bites Café, 120 Phillips Hall (CLCL). Enjoy learning and sampling foods from around the world!

Fall Break Meal

Community members and University of Iowa (UI) international students and scholars staying on campus during the fall break are invited to join International Programs for a celebration of community and a traditional holiday meal.

  • When: Monday, November 25th
  • Where: 1117 University Capitol Centre
  • Time: 11am to 2:30pm

The meal will feature turkey, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, dinner rolls, and pies. Vegetarian options will be available.

Participants will need to register for a specific time slot: 

  • 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (dine-in only)
  • 12 – 1 p.m. (dine-in only)
  • 1 – 2 p.m. (dine-in only)
  • 2 – 2:30 p.m. (grab & go pick-up only)

The Study Abroad Conversation Series amplifies the voices of students who studied abroad allowing them to share their experiences and stories with students whether they have committed to studying abroad or not. All conversations feature current or former study abroad students alongside professional staff at Iowa.

This semester-long student leadership training program is designed to increase your intercultural awareness and skills, while enhancing your understanding and connection through diversity.
