Resources for Staff

There’s so much information to absorb, it’s difficult to discern where to go for helpful information. The UI Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) website has a section dedicated to Faculty and Staff. You’ll find information on evolving university policies and procedures through the Fall 2020 Steps Forward Plan, community health expectations and practices, self-reporting guidelines, COVID-19 safety training, meeting and event best practices, self-care and workplace resources, and frequently asked questions.

Mid-Year Health Plan Changes

Mid-Year Health Plan Changes – Deadline Approaching Fast! With so many emails from the university, you may have missed an important message from the Benefits Office regarding the university’s health plan, but you have to act by Monday, August 31, 2020. As a result, the University of Iowa will allow, without a qualifying event, mid-year changes to health insurance coverage on a prospective basis. Contact University Benefits if you have questions.
