Humanities Initiatives grants can help strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities at colleges and universities by supporting the development of new or enhancement of existing programs, educational resources, or courses that explore, interpret, and preserve the diversity of human cultures, ideas, and practices, past and present. Details | | | Limited Submission Opportunities | | Description: The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to establish up to 10 centers (maximum one in each U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) region) for public health preparedness and response (PHPR). Our goal is to increase the use of evidence-based strategies and interventions (EBSIs) to improve PHPR in line with the needs of the communities involved.

Sponsor Deadline: Monday, June 10, 2024 at 10:59pm | | Description: The goal of the Bridges to the Baccalaureate Research Training Program is to provide structured activities to prepare a diverse cohort of research-oriented students to transfer from associate degree-granting institutions to baccalaureate degree-granting institutions and complete a baccalaureate degree in disciplines related to the biomedical sciences. This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) provides support to eligible, domestic institutions to develop and implement effective, evidence-informed approaches to biomedical training and mentoring that will keep pace with the rapid evolution of the research enterprise. Upon completion of the Bridges to the Baccalaureate Research Training program, trainees are expected to be well positioned to pursue research-oriented biomedical higher degree programs or enter careers in the biomedical research workforce.
