December 7th at 4:00 pm: Teach in France

• Let students know that they can go learn about how they can live in France by applying for a seven-month paid English Teaching Assistant position. Featured speaker Marina Reynolds will speak about her time as an assistante in Montluçon.

December 8th at 5:00 pm: WorldCanvass: Translation and Global Literacy

• Go and hear your colleagues in the Division and from the College of Education discussion translation and global literacy. Guests will reflect on the history and current environment for translation at Iowa as well as the concept of global literacy. The speakers will begin at 5:30 pm, but all are invited to enjoy a pre-show reception from 5:00 - 5:30 pm.
